You could even have child categories ie: Restuarants/Italian.

You can't categorize pages and doing them as pages would become unwieldy very quickly.

Or is it better to set up each restaurant on a separate "Page"? If I do them as posts I can categorize them but if I do them as individual pages I'm not sure I can do that. Any advice to point me in the best direction for good organization of the site would be appreciated. Thanks!
