You will have to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to make change to theme appearance. Note: CSS editing cannot be used to chnage how any theme functions.

The answer is the date which is embedded into the post URL. There is no workaround. Soory but you will either accept the way the theme is coded to operate or you will have to choose another theme.

2. How does the theme decide which sticky post to post in the top slider and which post to add as featured on the first page. I don’t want all sticky posts in the slider, but rather to decide which sticky post features where. Any ideas on how to work around this?
