When code is tripped out by wordpress.com software it usually means that the code is not allowed here. Please post the code between backticks and we will tell you what the problem is. This is a backtick` it's found on the same keyboard key as the ~ only in lower case.

I copy and paste the code into the text widget box and when I click save it dissapears.
Not sure what I am doing wrong.
