I had 3 overnight guests on air mattresses, and 5 this morning showering and wanting breakfast and packing for 6 days, and leaving for a 6 hour drive.

I'm relaxing now: tomatoes are ripe and amazing. And a mango they all forgot. And of course some pasta.

Hi 1tess,
That's interesting. I've noticed mods tell posters that before and the posters mention that the site is actually a .com, like in my situation. How is it determined that it's a .org? (Not being testy, I'd like to know so I can spare the confusion, going forward.)

My commercial blogs are all .org, sanctifiedbrother.wordpress.com and the98poundweakling.com are both .com blogs.

Thanks for explaining. I'm sure other bloggers would find it useful, too!

Please realize that the site linked to your username is using wordpress.ORG software and in general the answers we provide in this forum are for blogs using the wordpress.COM platform. In many cases, the answers we give won't necessarily work for your questions.

Hello,
How do you truncate blog posts on the blog page? I'd rather have a portion show, followed by "Read more…" or "Click here…" or something to that extent. I don't want the entire blog article showing up.

This is specific to the blog page feature of WordPress, not my blog in particular. My blog is sanctifiedbrother.wordpress.com if you want to see a basic example. It applies to other blogs, as well.
