I received this message in my email from you. It needs to go to brimstonefarms (just above your message). I closed my session back in August and marked it solved. I did find that yowindowweather works with WP and have it on my site. It loads slow , but it is so cute.

What do you prefer? If you prefer page, I can show you how to convert the above. But this is a 630px wide version of the gadget, so it can't fit in your sidebar: if you prefer sidebar, you need to select a narrow version of the gadget (less than 200px wide) and paste its code here.

I am having the same problem and am not exactly sure how to convert the code into short code. As for the DISCREET VARIABLES, I have no idea what to add here. Can someone please help explain how to convert the following code into a usable shortcode??? (then I assume I will use it in the text widget in the sidebar or can it be displayed directly on a page?):

Weather Forecast | Weather Maps | Weather Radar | Hurricane Center

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Yowindowweather gives the correct code to work with WordPress. Worked first time.

Hello raincoaster

I have been following the link that timethief sent in her 7:17 post above. It seems to me that there is an image . It shows several different sizes to choose from. I never could get it to work. I am now trying to use another one - I think it is called yoweather. I'll just keep trying.

I don't have any idea where the HTML version is located. Maybe they don't have one; most sites don't. It's up to you to find one that does work. Follow the link TT gave you.

I don't know. Maybe they don't provide one, in which case you'll have to use a different one. Maybe the code doesn't display an image.

Where is the html version located? They show two codes to choose from. One for website and one for my space.

I don't know where to get the html version.

ps...that my space code did not work either. It shows a plain (no image) in the sidebar with the link to accuweather. No image and no temperature showing. I am using my test blog trying this.

You cannot use a Javascript at all. You must find the HTML-only version.

Myspace code? no.

You go to http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/09/16/widgets-for-wpcom-5-weather/3/ and choose one of those widgets and get the code from their site. Then you put the code in a text widget, put it in your sidebar and you're done.

I am wondering if I get the my space code and then ...

Do I change it to what is showing in the wordpress tips page....

Do I then put it in a text widget in order to get the image along with the link to the weather site...

Just can't figure how to do this.

I am trying to add a 120 x 60 size widget in the sidebar for the weather. Could you tell me how? I have tried many different ways. It is from the accuweather.com . The code is for a blog or website. The information for adding this is under the consumer nav bar (netweather)

It is something that I think people might really like. (being able to see the temperature for the area)

I am wondering if maybe WordPress does not support this.
