You must use text. But you can edit the text in the HTML editor.

As for "it didn't work" could you be more specific about the nature of the failure?

Use the "more" tag: that's the one that looks like a dotted line across a page in the Visual editor. I think it's #13 across the top of the Write Post box. Just put the cursor where you want the break and click the icon.

What I am wondering is if there is a way for me to create a link FROM the posts on my homepage to a second page that shows the text, the second/third/tenth photos etc. I don't want the entire posts appearing on the homepage - just either an image or a shortened version of the overall post.

I am currently using the 'girl in green' theme and want my posts to appear as similarly as possible to those posts using the 'autofocus' theme, without having to actually change themes.

Any advice would be most appreciated!
