Can this be done simply with a few plugins, or jQuery? I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed or if I am unclear with my question.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

I have a few questions in regard to:

1. Displaying a content post grid within a slider on the main index like so: Example 01

2. Using an on-click action to display the post (or a post excerpt) on the right of the content grid, with slider-like transition when grid post is selected, like this: Example 02

A bit like this, only vertical instead: Example 03

Can this be done simply with a few plugins, or jQuery? I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed or if I am unclear with my question.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
