The theme is designed to show only an excerpt from the original post in the categories pages (tags and archives pages as well) and it strips out all formatting in those excerpts.

What you can try doing, is to open the post in the editor, switch to the HTML tab, copy everything out and then paste that into the "excerpt" module down below the text edit window.

Its the text on the news page itself. If you see the to the right of the first thumbnail, the post heading is actually exactly the same font and size as the rest of the content text...

Assuming you are talking about that text widget this will increase the font size of that specific widget by ID number. The following increase the size ONLY for that text widget. All other widget font sizes will remain the same. Originally the font size was 12px, I just popped 20px in there as a test.

I'm working on this site for someone: http://i2isouthhookgas.wordpress.com and it's all fine, and how the client wants it, but I'm having a problem with my news page.

It is basically a list of posts in the "news category" added to my menu:
http://i2isouthhookgas.wordpress.com/category/news/

What I don't understand is, even though the post heading is marked up as H1 in the post and the post has a full title, why does the title of the post end up in the same format style and weight in the list of posts? And is there any way of changing it to make it more prominent?

By the way this site is still very much work in progress, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
