It is really strange that WP made a new theme of the same genre but they are not compatible with each other.

I have tons of posts in Twenty Eleven with images inserted as well as featured image, because that's how this theme was suppose to function. Now, I cannot migrate to Twenty Twelve because inserting images functions differently.

I have noticed that the recent theme, as they're being released, are showing featured images twice on any given blog post.

For example, if I have a featured image set in a post and that feature image is also inserted in the post (as it is typically done) than that particular post will show the image twice on Twenty Eleven theme.

Why is that?

I cannot imagine moving from Twenty Eleven theme to Twenty Twelve because I will have to edit several old blog posts to remove the duplicate image.

Is there any hope?
