TwentyTwelve does not currently show standard navigation menus for IE8 and below.

This is a known issue which is now flagged as a bug, so there may be a fix for it soon. But for now, IE8 users will only get a "menu" button, and there is no way to change it on a WordPress.com site.

Hi,

I'm getting the same problem. I'm using the same theme and would like a simple static menu vs a drop down menu when viewed in ie 8 and lower.

Hi,
In Firefox and Safari, Twenty Twelve renders great. In IE, the top navigation (Home, About) doesn't show and instead I get a button-like visual labeled "Menu" floating in the top header. Has that happened to anyone? Is there a way to resolve it?
Thank you!
