The menu at the top of your blog is merely a list of top-level pages you've created via "Pages" in your blog's dashboard. You can change the "Order" setting on each page to control how they're displayed, and change their title to change the displayed name.

I would like to remove a couple of the pages as well as change the title of one. When I go to Appearance - Menus, the Pages section is grayed out and I'm not able to access any features as indicated on the help section to make the changes I would like.

Friendly advice is welcomed and needed.
