As raincoaster said above there is only one icon now. Reading this may be helpful > Drag & Drop Media Uploader & Flyout Dashboard Menus.
Clearing your browser cache and cookies is the standard troubleshooting technique used every day multiple times daily. Have you done that?

Also I can´t do a quick edit anymore. Is there someone working in the background on wordpress doing upgrades or something that is causing the problems?
