There is really no way to set up WordPress.COM with restricted registered/paid users other than making pages password protected.

Are you aware that there are different flavors of WordPress? If you plan on money collection, registration etc. then perhaps you really need to look at WordPress.ORG:

I'm sorry but thew answer is "no". WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for e-commerce transactions and preventing video downloading is not something that can be done here. We can only use PayPal donation buttons an/or contact forms. There is not registration process that will suit what you want to do. Please read this and then head out and hire a web host and set up your own self hosted WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hi,
I am new to WordPress. I have been researching for several days on "How To" regarding using WordPress as an avenue to host my online Art Workshops.

I am trying to find out the process of restricting access to art videos. I know that they can be password protected. But I was wondering if there is a program compatible with WordPress that would do it all for me.

In other words, it would help with student registration, money collection, and video access.
