@sxsxdelga, sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that blog is self-hosted and self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported there.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.

If you do not know the difference, see this support document for the differences: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .

I've had similar troubles with YouTube vids, on my blog, other blogs, and at the YouTube site. The video keeps playing but the sound is gone. I do get the little spinning circle of dots on the video - sometimes that's the only way I know that there's supposed to be sound. I had thought that this was a side effect of trying to view vids on an old hunk-o-junk, since re-booting seems to clear it up. But I'll try your suggestion with the volume control just to see if I can save myself a re-boot.

We need a link to the blog please and also to a particular post or page where this is happening. I have run across this with Viddler videos when using Safari with Mac's (haven't verified if it is the same with the windows version).

The solution I found is to click the volume link on the video control bar, move it down to minimum and then move it back up to maximum. Then you will have sound.

I've contacted viddler about this several times, but all I can figure is they don't care since they have never done anything about it.

Hi all out there - I have been putting up video successfully on my site, but a few days ago started getting reports that for some people the audio wasn't playing - when it had been previously. I have never had any problems on my computer, but now I can't get audio on any of the files.

Site has attracted almost 3,000 viewers in less than a fortnight, and we expect more in the next 48 hours in the lead up to a major live streaming concert this blog is supporting..

Help!
