Also as I posted above one does not need to click into your blog and create a page view stat to click a like button.

Why don’t post/page views add up to total views?
Post/page views are included in total views, but there are many views to your site that are not a post or page URL. The front pages, category/tag/date/author archives, and searches are all examples of other views that only count towards total views. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info

I have had comments and like show up that aren't being noted on my counts. I have never had 29 views from australia as my biggest viewer and nothing from the U.S.

I have also seen my numbers jump from a single digit to a VERY high double digit in a two minute span.

When I see that happening I use copyscape http://www.copyscape.com/ to determine which blog scrapers are stealing my content.

Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.

For each article in a feed, show
Full text
Summary
Doing that compels followers to click in and read the full post on my blogs.
