			<description><![CDATA[<p>Basically this is just about saying, 'Hi'.<br />
I was going to call my blog 'A guide for the perplexed'. Unfortunately this spiffing (if ambitious) title has already been used (Simon Maimonedes, as I recall),so I had to think of something else.<br />
The intention is to be eclectic (essentially because I'm not an expert on anything) so hopefully I might have something for you.<br />
Topics covered sofar include the philosophy of decision making, a (brief) history of vampirism in popular culture and some meditations on the vexed question 'Why is a duck?'<br />
If you have any thoughts on the subjects raised, then I'd be interested in hearing from you, but please be advised. This is not to be taken too seriously.
