If your websites are not hosted through WordPress.COM, then you by definition have to seek help at WordPress.ORG instead. Sorry you've been given the runaround, but all WP.COM blogs have whatever.wordpress.com addresses in addition to any custom domains they have. We can't help you: our software is different.
