Have you read this entry from the Staff blog? http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/05/19/just-write/ I upgraded from Firefox 3.6.17 to Firefox 4.0 by using the Browse Happy link and I'm not experiencing any issues. http://browsehappy.com

I haven't updated because it's incompatible with the version of the F.E.B.E. add-on I use to back up my profile (an update is in the works, but I don't trust betas).

Could these problems be caused by using an outdated browser? Do you know of another easy way to back up my profile that's compatible with the new version of Firefox?

I almost never use the visual editor(s) tab, yet I'll often find that it's been "preselected" for me when I start a new post/page or go to edit an old one.

Also, I've always positioned the elements of the post editor so that they arranged from the top as "Post Tags" then "Publish" and "Categories" (the three I use), yet I keep finding them repositioned when I start or edit a post.

Has anyone else had these problems? Can there be something I'm doing to cause them?
