@jessielansdel I agree with the nature part - but not the stalking! I think it is terrible to see a creature in mortal fear trying to escape from a predator so much bigger and stronger than itself..horrible. I love my cats, but don't appreciate their knack for catching songbirds. Mice, they can have at.

Men showing love and affection for each other I think is so beautiful. Animals, music and thunder storms. All nature really. Even that which we perceive as cruel ( in nature) has a kind of beauty about it. Just watch a cat ( big or small) stalk it's prey, or the grace of a Great White shark as it leaps from the water to catch an unsuspecting seal or bird. Beautiful.

I think beauty is more to do with actions than appearance.

Though having said that I think all animals are beautiful. (just look at my blog and you'll see beauty in through this blogger's eyes!)

There's a book: Colour: Natural History of the Palette which chronicles the author visiting worldwide natural sources of colour/pigment and does research. ie. red is from a particular beetle in South America, etc.

Very interesting book.

Colour is so fascinating. It has so many qualities. I love reading the 'names' of colours - some are so well-suited and inventive! And nature, too, holds endless beauty.

Yep, I'm with maidiebike - nature is beautiful. But also, colour. To me, colour is beauty. :) If I were ever to lose my ability to perceive colour, I think I'd go crazy.

Is first look to Nature for beauty. The beauty in Nature, is neutral because Man did not create it.

When I began my personal blog, I had no idea that a good portion of it would include Nature. That was not my intent. It was on cycling. But of course, part of the experience of cycling is experiencing Nature on several different fronts...except for taste unless one plucks off wild fresh fruit somewhere.
