we are very limited on the amount of information we can collect from
your traffic. You won't be able to see any search terms that your
visitors use to get to your site, and you won't be able to see

"somesite.com"). This is unfortunately a limitation of a wordpress.com
blog.

While we think our product is great, and you seem to as well from your
dedication to get it working, I just want to warn you that you might
be a bit disappointed.

RC, per your encouragement, I did some research and found a blog /site that gave me some insight into what is available stat counter wise out there and what those options provide. http://www.alexpooley.com/tag/getclicky . It was based on the information that I found at this site that I decided to give get clicky a look.

Thanks so much for getting back to me and the heads up. I thought I read in their literature that I would be able to receive stats about 10 minutes after I got set up and logged in with getclicky. It was like that with site meter. Interestingly, I have no stats whatsoever in get clicky. Do you think this is because of the weekend? I will keep you posted if no stats show up. I would give it some time. I don't know of any interference between GetClicky and Sitemeter, and think with the HTML version you're using on both you won't find interference.

I still have stile meter on my blog too. Is there a conflict between these two stat counters that is interfering with getclicky working. If so, how can I remove stile meter. In my newbiness I do not know where I placed stile meter's code.

I do not use "getclicky". I have sitemeters on all my blogs and they are all I need.

I follow the FAQs instructions to create text widgets and to fill them with text and/or images. Provided that you have positioned the text widget in your sidebar by dragging it out of the available widgets box and dropping it into the sidebar widgets box, correctly followed the instructions and inserted the correct code into the text widget as disembedded told you and then clicked "save changes", it should be working.

If not then I'm sorry but I have no further help I can offer you.

It's the code that I have on my blog that makes Getclicky work just fine. It will give you the clickable widget, plus insert a tracking code. Paste it just as it is in my last response (I customized it for your blog) into a sidebar TEXT widget.

If you'd like, you can see it in my right sidebar on my blog. Find it and click--you'll see that it's working.

Also, don't worry, trying it out can't mess up your blog. If you find it doesn't work or isn't working, just go back to the widget and erase the code. That's all--no damage, no problem.

Remember--use the code that I posted for you in my last response.
