@winsomebella
I'm sorry your are having trouble commenting when using your iPad. If you are not clicking into a blog then there is no page view stat that can be recorded. Here's the link for the iOs forums where you can report your issue http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/ You may want to post here so the developers are aware of the issue > http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

Important note: Likes are not page views. In fact, likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. See here for what I do to compel readers to read posts on my site > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats

re: searching for other blogs with similar content

The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/

For Google searches use this format and replace "keyword" with whatever word you wish:
keyword site:wordpress.com/

Queen Victoria site:wordpress.com

My stats are so low at this time of the year that I would be discouraged if I were new to blogging. But I'm not new and can see this pattern spanning seven years so I'm not discouraged.

You can put this extra time you have to good use in two ways. The first is searching for blogs with similar content and leaving meaningful comments on them. The second is creating draft posts you will publish in the future. I've done both in other years but this year I have had and still have company for the holidays.

I feel like my blog posts may not be displaying on some of my followers' Readers. I have quite a few followers that comment very regularly and I typically get 6-15 comments for each post. For my last two posts, I've had only two or three comments and they're from the same people. Many of my other regular followers have not commented. This could be because of the holidays, but I fear it's because, for whatever reason, my posts are not showing up on most Readers. Is this possibly what's happening? How do I fix it? Both posts have been set to "Public" and I haven't changed any of my settings recently, so I'm very confused.
