WordPress.com did NOT place those on your blog. WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. If you and or your visitors are seeing those then that’s a browser-ad-on issue, or in some cases, it’s embedded into free games downloaded from the internet or it's from leech ads that you acquire by visiting online shopping sites.

I understand the visual ads, but not the highlighted words. Even scripture is affected.

If I go upgrade to "no ads" will words still be highlighted to show ads?
