I also checked things in my tests blog yesterday and I can confirm that the option wouldn't work.

Yesterday, however, no matter what I did, I couldn't get it back to one post on the front page despite all my settings being correct. So I still don't know why this happened but I am assuming it must be some sort of technical glitch. Most frustrating at the time, but just glad it is resolved now. Has anybody else had this happen? And does it have anything to do with the infinity scrolling feature?

What can I do about this and does it have anything to do with Infinity scrolling?
