Agreed. Using an offline blog editor like windows live writer or Ecto or creating posts in a plain text editor is definitely safer.

Fortunately, my post was saved in a Google cache and I was able to repost it. Too bad I can't say the same thing about the lost version of my "Sweeper of Dreams" post, which encountered an error when I submitted it and disappeared when I backed up. Of course, that was the time I forgot to highlight and hit Ctrl-C before I submitted.

I believe I had it open in three browser tabs and closed them all out. I didn't think that would create a problem with the post already uploaded and the link tweeted out.

Our developers have taken a look and unfortunately haven't been able to trace down the source of the technical problem. Is it possible that you had two browser windows or tabs open at the same time? If you wouldn't mind letting us know if this ever happens again, we'd appreciate it, so we can investigate further.

This happened since a week or so. Learned from the first posting, she's copying and pasting her blogs first before she's publishing it. Sometimes succesful, but more it is not. The whole blog is gone.
Maybe it helps: she's writing her blogs on her EE laptop, while I later on republish her blog from my desktop computer without a problem.

There is only one main page for posts in a blog and all posts will display on the main blog page. There is no way to exclude posts from the main posts (blog) page. The front page of the blog by default will display your posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top.
