Thank you. I understand your point about the use of public media, but my situation is different from what you described. I only publicize on Facebook and I know that a number of my regular readers rely on the Facebook links to know when I've posted, so when the connection is broken it becomes problematic.

Hi there,
if or should I say when this happens agin here are the relevant links:
1. the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.
2. publicize troubleshooting http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting

That being said, the most effective way to promote your posts via social media and social networks is to post unique snippets and links manually to each site. We are drowning in an ocean of duplicated snippets and links and by joining social networks we are, in essence, agreeing to be spammed by a slect group pf "friends". Well, these days people are becoming downright snarly about receiving identical impersonal robo-posted snippets and links posted across multiple social networks.

Same problem. My last few posts have not been published on FB though before it was working fine. I have re-set the connection to FB. WordPress does not notify me of any problem with the settings like it did last time this happened.
