I wish it was possible to open a link with archives/category posts, when open my blog in a browser, as the first page. I can only choose a normal "static pages" to be opened. But will I find a way I guess :-)

There are some themes that show full posts in the archives/category pages.

I want to have a menu there each link on the top, view a choicen category posts.
But how can choose that no posts are allowed to collapse, with a continue reading?

(in this view, with no pictures showing, it does not look good)

(and by the way, how can I choose one specific link on the menu to be open first, when open my blog in a browser)
