That is the way the theme she is using is designed. It is not a setting in the dashboard. The only way to correct that would be to purchase the Custom Design upgrade and the modify the CSS so that the left and right margins were set to auto such as below.

.wrap {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

You can go to appearance > custom design > CSS, delete the informational text in the CSS edit window, add the above to that window and then use the preview button to see how it would look and work. Sometimes the preview page will not reflect the change, and you have for force refresh/reload that page to see the change.

@disc440, I'm looking at cwpcblog.wordpress.com side-by-side in Safari and Firefox and see no difference, and when I compare it generally to the demo site here, I'm seeing everything in place.

The sunspot theme is a left aligned theme, and if your browser window is set wider than the theme, you will see a large empty space to the right. You are not using the same theme, so that is not a valid comparison. Your theme has the main container for all the page content centered. That is why yours doesn't have the large blank area to the right. The blank area ends up being split equally on the left and right on your site.

Each theme designer decides how they are going to layout and present their theme and in the case of Sunspot, the designer decided to float the main container to the left instead of centering it.

I'm sorry you feel that way. All I know is that I'm using Firefox 13.0.1 and I see a normal display. Therefore that points to you having to do some troubleshooting. If you aren't willing to do that then I don't know how to help you.

I appreciate the quick response, and I will try to do these things, but does anyone here on the forum ever look at their responses, and how they come across to novices? After looking at all these steps/terms, etc. it's so much easier to say "the hell with it". Just not worth all this....

I'm using Forefox 13.0.1 and I visited this blog : http://brazenhuzzy.wordpress.com/ It's displaying normally for me. These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Also note that Staff have been introducing “infinite scroll" to themes — a site wide change that will be applied to all themes that are suitable for the implementation. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/to-infinity?replies=137
