Files are cached for incredibly quick delivery, so they exist on a separate system and really can't be mapped.

If you do move your blog, the attached files will be imported and inherit the new domain. If you purchase a Site Redirect upgrade, all traffic will be redirected to the new location.

So when if I decide to move my blog to a self-hosted version, will you redirect users who came from search engines (image search) to my new site? What happened to that files and the useres who clicked that old links?

Is not it a very big problem for wordpress' domaing mapping system? Because we are paying wordpress to map blog to custom domain, but our files can not be mapped.

Thanks in advance,

I have blog called as "gobegim.wordpress.com" . I have already mapped it to http://www.ye-mek.net. The posts and pages are mapped to my new domain but the files are still served from "gobegim.files.wordpress.com".

This is very big problem for me as all the search engines indexing this path not my mapped domain. I only want to use my mapped domian (ye-mek.net).

I need help. How can we solve this issue?

Thanks in advance...
