Did you build the form by hand or by using the Contact Form builder in the editor?

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

The same email that I used to registered with WordPress. In the 'Pages' tab I added a new page and inserted the following code in the text and visual tab:

[contact-form] [contact-field label="Name" type="name" required="true" /] [contact-field label="Email" type="email" required="true" /] [contact-field label="Website" type="url" /] [contact-field label="Comment" type="textarea" required="true" /] [/contact-form]

It looks correct, and displays the correct email address, and tells me that it was sent. But it doesn't show up in my email despite telling that it was sent.
