If you don't care about the underlying sub-domain name, you can use Domain Mapping to point cassiefindley.com to cassiefindleydotcom.wordpress.com

If you want to change the underlying sub-domain from cassiefindleydotcom.wordpress.com. to cassiefindley.wordpress.com, use the link above. You can then use the Domain Mapping link to point cassiefindley.com to cassiefindley.wordpress.com

Now, if you've already done the Domain Mapping here, it can take 2-3 days to fully take effect, so you'll just have to wait.

I am starting a blog. I bought Cassiefindley.com from GoDaddy, and then went to WordPress and bought the value bundle. I transferred Cassiefindley over to WordPress. However, now Cassiefindley.com won't load...and I do not want the .wordpress part of the address. Did I do this right? I called GoDaddy and they said it looks like I had Cassiefindley.com linked up correctly to WordPress and it is WordPress' problem that Cassiefindley.com isnt working. What can I do?

I don't know why, but it seems to happen.

Had you just entered 'cassiefindley', you would have been fine.

I am frustrated because it is not the correct web address. How can I fix this?
