You can keep the domain registration here or move it - either one works - WordPress.COM is a low cost registrar

There is a 60 day waiting period after some types of changes to any internet registration - that is an internet regulation - you might have ran into that

I followed the procedure, and every time I do it (I have repeated the process four times) I get a response from DreamHost saying the transfer was rejected by my current registrar. I am paying for hosting at DreamHost that I can't use, as well as a domain I can't use. I am trying to start a business, and am losing money, time, etc. There's no way to reach a person at WordPress and I'm getting desperate. Please help!
