Thanks guys. It seems I'm not at fault and I'm not alone. I guess WordPress will sort it out eventually. Thanks again for your help.

@hansy123 that link leads to WP.org. This is WP.com and there is currently a bug in the system that is affecting many blogs. @uknowispeaksense please refer to the 'sticky post' at the top of the forum for this current issue.

The upload media button stopped working. I tried refreshing. i tried rebotting. I tried all three browsers I have. Also the help button in the main frame didn't work either.
