If it's set up correctly then you need staff intervention. You have two choices. You can wait as staff do monitor these threads or your can use this link and report the problem directly to staff http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
N.B. Support hours are 9 - 5 PM weekdays.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I've aleady set the blog to be viewable to all. I've just re-checked and updated it, but still no joy.

Any othe ideas?

Right now you have your blog set up to be "private" so we cannot see it. You can chnage this here -> Dashboard -> Options -> Privacy
Privacy Options
Blog visibility:
____I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com.
____I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors
____I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose

If you want your blog to be viewed by everyone then mark the first option and click "Update Options".

I've just signed-up for a new blog (theherbalist.wordpress.com).

I can access the back end, but I get re-directed to wordpress.com when I try theherbalist.word...

I've written my first post, as I thought it might be that.

Please can someone let me know if this is normal?
