And awful lot of people prefer to navigate blogs via tags/categories. The world is very broad and some specialists are going to want to read everything you've written on, say, button-eared wallabies.

Hi there,
Search engines are not focused on keywords in Tags you assign to your posts. They are focused one keywords in the text of your posts. They are also capable of detecting whether or not the keywords in Tags you assign to posts are ion fact found in the ext. Tags are for your readers' use. It's assume that a reader who is interested in a specific subject area may wish to locate every post on your blog in that same subject. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/03/01/revisiting-keywords-and-tags/

If you use the INove theme or the Monochrome themes there is an option under Themes Options to suppress the display of Tags and Categories. In the case of any other theme you will need to purchase a custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to hide tags.

Why are the tags i add to a post visible to everyone at the bottom of the post?

Why would I want people to see my tags and why would people need to see them? I don't get it.

Is there a way to make them invisible? Apart from anything else, the comments link gets lost in a cloud of tags.

Thanks
