You need to include the Pages Modules:

Page – Likes and Shares, Page Attributes, Featured Image, Discussion, Comments**, Page Revisions, Slug, Author, Revisions, Writing Helper

However, in my new blog the parent page option doesn't display. The new blog was built under the same account of an existing blog. Could that be the problem and if so is it fixable?
