I'm using a Twenty Eleven child theme and have some widgets in the right sidebar (Links, Text, and Simple Facebook Connect). In Firefox, the text in the widget area looks fine; in IE8, it's incredibly blurry. I suspect it has something to do with the way IE "smooths" text, but the text on this "Add New Topic" page, for example, is as small as if not smaller than the widget text and it's nowhere near that blurry.

A couple of screenshots - first the Firefox version:
http://michiganboxerclub.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/mbc_ff.jpg

And the IE:
http://michiganboxerclub.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/mbc_ie.jpg

I know upgrading to IE9 might solve the problem, but a significant number of the people visiting the site are older and will not be on the cutting edge of browser version. (I suspect most of them are still using IE7 or earlier, actually!) So if it is at all possible to correct the issue on my side of things, rather than requiring visitors to get a new browser, that would be ideal.
