Did you want to change the date on the post or just find out why it's happening?

To change the date on your post, edit it, go to the 'Publish' section and click 'Edit' next to the 'Published On' date.

So recently I had written an entry which I had shelved for a few days using the wordpress blackberry application. A few days later, I returned to it and finished writing the post and I then published it but the date that was shown on my blog page was the date on which I had made my initial entry and not the date that I actually published the post. Is this how its suppose to be?
