Is there a referrer number/account in that link? Are you being paid for referrals? If so, that is an affiliate link. Staff have the last say, but so far, with a few narrow exceptions which are outlined in the Types of Blogs document, that seems to be the the guideline.

Here's another forum thread that may enlighten you

Thanks justjennifer,
I have still one question:
Consider the following situation:
In a blog on my website I talk about an Apple iPhone-App e.g. iWork-Keynote. If I set a link to Apple's App Store, so that readers can see feature descriptions for this app,
would this be interpreted as an affiliate link?
If so, I think one could say linking is generally not allowed on WordPress.com-Blogs, because it may be interpreted as promotion for whatever.

Hi there,
it seems to me that there are some experts here replying to the question of gregrocks23. Since I did not get any reply to my question 'Moving from COM to ORG' I try to put it here ask here, because it's in the context.
My question:
I subscribed to the 'Value Bundle 99$'.
Is this the way to avoid suspension of my blog even if there are affiliate links in my blog?

You can do it yourself. The Guided Transfer is only for people who can't figure out how to do it on their own. We generally recommend exporting the contents to the new site, then setting the old site as Private so you have one private blog to test widgets and themes, etc.

Thanks for the reply, that helped. But will I still have to buy the guided transfer or can I import my current blog myself? Also, will my earlier blog posts and pages remain?
