I've since run them individually for pages [check], feedbacks [check] and posts [uh-oh]. Some of the early years work split individually split [woo-hoo!] but now there is a point where even on a six monthly basis, the XML files don't work [sigh].

Latest error message is:

Firefox can't find the file at http://aculturedleftfoot.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?download=true&content=posts&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=2009-01&post_end_date=2009-06&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&submit=Download+Export+File.

Is there a solution that I've missed somewhere?
