I opened a YouTube page and viewed my video then I cut the URL from the address bar at the top the browser (not the url from the share or embed option) and pasted it into a blank line in my WP editor (ordinary editor, not the HTML editor). It appeared as a hot link (coloured and underlined text) so I unlinked it. When I published the post the video appeared as I wanted it. Hope it works for you.
