One of the biggest ways they claim is to make sure that my sitemap is being utilized. I have been attempting to register this website with Google Webmaster and am still getting a message that my site doesn't have a sitemap. I have read through the files here on the Support forum claiming that this is done automatically but again Google says that it can't find a sitemap for my site. When I manually upload the code to Google's sitemap under web master tools I get a 404 error message. Is there something else I need to be doing to make this work?

This is fantastic news for me and am keen to set this up. however, i don't want the image displayed in the post itself. Is there a way i can set the featured image but not have it displayed in the post?

I am helping a friend move from a Tumblr account to Blogger (long story!, but a WordPress blog is not an option ...)

Since there is no direct Tumblr-Blogger migration tool, I was advised to import to WordPress first, then export, convert to XML file to blogger format and import to Blogger.

I did all of the above: while all original Tumblr posts showed up fine in WordPress, most of these post images are now gone in Blogger.
Instead the post will just display the word [gallery], but there is no photo :(

Please Help - is there any way to migrate the existing photos from the WordPress posts to Blogger (instead of re-psoting photos of some 500+ posts!)

Google forum response (from a top contributor) to why my #s are going down: "interlinking of this site with your other sites, as well as many other sites, with dofollow (rank-passing) links."

When I read your forum on dofollow, I found something from 2009 saying this is no longer important. Is that still true? Or should I go into every blog post, find every link, and make them all "rel=nofollow"?

We have never seen anything like this drop in our 10 years of using wordpress. If you know of anything else going on that I should check, I would greatly appreciate it. We are going to be at zero impressions soon if this keeps up.

Here is what we are seeing with impressions per day (peaks):
until April 4th = 2,000
April 4th - April 24th = 1,600 (3 weeks)
April 25th - May 7th = 1,300 (2 weeks)
May 8th - May 16th = 900 (1 week)
May 17th = 700

the "wp-admin-bar-newdash" popup menu in the admin bar (hover over the WordPress icon on the left in the admin bar) suddenly got a 12px padding via CSS Code. I think it's because of the following code:

padding: 12px;
}

This means a lot of white space between the menu entries and a very long menu. Can this be fixed? Bear in mind I'm using the new dashboard design by enabling the checkbox at Users → Personal Settings → Admin design.
