A month ago I transferred old material from my main blog, wgccgolfersnotices, to a new archive blog, http://wgccgolfersarchive.wordpress.com/archives/ I checked and everything seemed to have transferred OK, so I deleted the material from my original blog. I checked the archive site today and all the photos seem to have disappeared. The sections they were in are still there, but no photos. Other archived material, mainly pdf,s are still there and can be accessed. Only the photos have gone.

Please help, I hope the photos are at least still in older versions of my original blog?

Suddenly my stats are at zero for both views and visitors yet I'm still getting lots of notifications to say people are liking posts etc so I know it's the wordpress stats that have stopped counting :(
I haven't changed anything (no new plug-ins or widgets) recently.
Anyone know how to fix?

I am no longer able to access it now, so, creating a new post here.

Here is my problem:
I uploaded a zip file in the media library but when I try to download it using its URL (http://honalu.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/nerale_win_644.zip) I am unable to do it. The browser is showing a "web page not found" error message. Since I had two zip files in my media library with the name 'nerale_win_64' you suggested I delete one of them and try. This time I deleted both the old files and uploaded the zip file afresh. But I am still not able to download the file. Could you please help me with this.

I have been working on my new website and it's called http://www.workingathomeidea.com, but then when I login again this afternoon, it became http://workingathomeidea.wordpress.com and it is nothing like the one I built earlier this morning! Hi, I have a problem.

I have a blog where I'm the sole admin but have several author helping me. (user role: author)
My twitter is linked to a twitter account where I'm the only manager.
So only my pst were posted in the twitter account, and I had to go to every post of the others author to update them, so that they would be posted on twitter.
But for a few days, this doesn't even work, and I have to post everything by hand.

I looked through the support FAQ, and I saw : "You can also make the connection available to all users of the blog. Meaning that when another user creates a post it will also publicize to this Twitter connection."

But How ? It's not described...
Can I make the connexion to my twitter account available to all authors eventhough they are not allowed on the twitter account ?
And how to do ?

Was trying to update text in one of my posts and couldn't edit it. Wasn't sure if this was because of my internet connection, but I just couldn't delete and type new text properly. Had to break out my laptop and make the changes, which was annoying since this is why I have the iPad...so I won't need to use the laptop as much.

I clicked to find friends from twitter. It promised I would be able to disconnect my twitter account. I cannot do so. I do not want to constantly link twitter to my blog. How can I get rid of this? I tried everyone's suggestions about going to settings and an x by twitter, but it doesn't show up. However, if I go back into find friends it shows I'm connected to twitter. I do not want to be auto-logged in to twitter. Please assist ASAP. Thanks.

Hi everyone.

So I have the beautiful Autofocus theme for my website, but for some reason, half way scrolling down the front page, the images stop being in a 'mosaic' style (i.e stacked together) and instead are one story per row. If you go to the website (www.vikingsinlondon.wordpress.com) and scroll down you'll see what I mean.

I've been trying to figure it out, but can't for the life of me. Any help is really, really appreciated.

I had a blog gymclassklutz, which I made "hidden", when I started my new blog daythechalkboardfell. However either my about page or my posts keep reverting to the old address. So the viewer can only access one or the other.
How do I get rid of the old one and have both my home page and my About page go to the new one? Also, I tried deleting and adding a new About page , now there are several listed. how do I remove the extra titles?

I'm trying to activate TWITTER button from the customize panel on my blog. The TWITTER is now displayed on my blog page, but when i click on the button it comes up with 'error link' on the internet connection browser. I don't know what code to enter into the TWITTER link in my customize panel to link to my twitter page. ( please note that i'm not requesting for the twitter sideline for displaying 'latest tweets' , i just want my blog users to be connected to my 'Twitter' profile and follow. Hi I am sorry to bother you, I am having an issue with the transferring of my blog to self hosted. When we installed and connected Jetpack, we were using a temporary URL.

Now that we're live we're using a different URL, but for some reason comments etc are going to the temporary URL again.

The only way to solve I believe is to disconnect jetpack and reconnect on the new live URL, will the subscribers need to be transferred again and are you able to transfer the subscribers again?

I think something went wrong in the middle of the proces of changing my email address, because I now get email notifications on both my old and my new address. I'm guessing the old entry did not get deleted from the databank or something like that (I'm usually the lucky one that gets the issues no one else encounters...).
I asked this question on the forum a couple of months ago when I first noticed it, but I didn't really mind it. But I posted a blog about our stolen bike yesterday and it was a lot more popular than I thought and 50 email notifications on each email account in 24h is just too much to handle for an amateur blogger like me...

Can the address that starts with [email redacted] be removed (completely, if possible) and replaced by [email redacted]? The only reason that I don't type the complete old address is that I don't know how many people receive this email and that one is meant for private use.

When I click on the "Likes and Follows" button on my admin bar, the little progress wheel drops down, then just sits there, spinning. I have tried letting it spin for over 4 minutes before clicking it off... and it does respond to clicking the button to toggle it off.
I am using Firefox 21. I have cleared the cache. I have rebooted... many times.
It had been working for months, and I am completely at a loss trying to think of anything I have changed around the time it stopped working.

My usage pattern contains frequent saves, switching between Text/Visual, etc. No definite reproducible case yet, but if I find one, I will follow up.

Hello, a couple of months ago I was working on a wordpress site and with the help of a great staffer, I was able to create some custom CSS to fix a problem I was having with getting my custom headers to appear on the mobile theme version of this site.

The problem was that when I chose "random" for my headers they would not show up at all on the mobile theme at all. With her help I was able to write some custom CSS that would tell the mobile them a specific header image to be shown for each page.

The other day, I purchased my approved stock imagery and uploaded the new image files to my media library (and renamed the paths in my CSS to reflect the new image names) but now nothing is showing up on the mobile theme again.

I've been going over the CSS and my old support thread for a while now and I can't figure out what changed that is causing this to not work anymore.

If anyone has an idea, i'd very much appreciate your insight.

I can't create sub items. i already tried deleting cookies, force shutdown etc and it didn't work. when i try to make a 'sub item' from a 'post' under a 'page' in 'Menu 1' in 'Appearance - Menus' and I click 'Save menu' it just saves as a 'Page'.

I want 'Ekstraordinært beboermøde 30.05.2013' to be a 'sub item' under 'Begivenheder' and not a 'page' as it is right now.

I use the 'twenty thirteen' theme and the blog is called http://koegemarken.wordpress.com/

i would love it if you would please take a look and help me fix it :)

hi there im have a small problem with theme "modern news",
everytime i go into customize the font automatically changes to headings= Ambrose and body= Anonymous Pro! I may not be doing anything to change the font and it jus changes- its very annoying is there something i can do to prevent this , or am I doing something wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.
