craftappleJust a few days ago my %age used of my 50MB storage limit was somewhere in the 90s. Today it's down to 20% of 50 MB. This is a good thing, to be sure, but is it going to bounce back up into the 90% range in the future or have I been given a free gift of some sort?

You're guess is as good as any on that one. I'd give it a day and see what it does. Mine stayed at 0% for weeks after I uploaded a bunch of pictures, and then I looked and it was at 10%.

I wouldn't count on a "free gift" tbh :-)
If it's not a temporary issue and it ends up causing you trouble I would suggest contacting the support team.
