On about May 24, my blog reached 620,000 hits. On June 10, it reached 630,000. Then suddenly the number dropped back to about 610,000, and by June 14, I was only at 620,000 and have yet to attain 630K again.
I didn't realize it happened at the time, or I would have asked much sooner.
Does anybody know what happened, and if WordPress is doing anything to get the counter back on track? Can those thousands of lost hits ever be restored?
