2010: can't post to pages

  1. in the end i'm disappointed with 2010. there's so much that's cool about it but what i need to do is create a series of pages oriented around particular topics, then post to those particular pages. can't be done. can't import a plugin to do it. so, i have to go to dreamhost.

The blog I need help with is vtwed.wordpress.com.

  2. We need a link to the blog please, but you need to familiarize yourself with the differences between static pages you create and posts.

  3. Since the answer to this applies to all wordpress blogs using 2010 (others as well), here is the skinny.

The way to organize posts is with categories. You set up the categories with the names you want, and then apply those to posts as required.

Since 2010 supports the new custom menu feature, you can then create a custom top nav menu and include those categories in the new custom menu. Then when someone clicks on one of those category names, they will get a listing of the posts in that category.
