2014 article title overlapping picture

  A few days ago when I started this Theme the title of the article was overlapping with photo, but now that feature is gone! Why is that and how can I make it overlap the title with picture, as Theme demo demonstrates??

  I’m not sure I follow. Are you talking about titles like the one that says “FEATURED IMAGES REALLY SHINE IN THIS THEME” on the Twenty Fourteen demo site at http://twentyfourteendemo.wordpress.com/ ?

  If so, you can get that effect by setting up featured images for your posts:
