A few random questions

  1. #1) Does wordpress support project playlist? I tried to upload it and it showed the links but not the actual music.

    #2) How do I make it to where my blog posts only show a short description in a little box with a link to the separate blog so that there isn't run on conent up and down my front page?

    #3)Can someone look at our blog and tell us what it is pyhsically missing LOL. I'm used to Myspace and have no idea really how to navigate wordpress and customize everything, any advice would help.

  2. There is a workaround for it I believe
    Let me see if I can find it for you.

  3. Ah, I found it this article has a workaround project play list as well as
    other music sites Music in WordPress.com using goear and deezer

  4. 1. It sort of works here, as outlined in this post by energetic: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/project-playlist?replies=17#post-127001 . It isn't actually supported by wordpress.com though.

    2. Use the more tag to split your posts wherever you wish: http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/07/08/splitting-posts-with-the-more-tag/ . Also, when using the more tag, do not place it within a paragraph, blockquote, ordered or unordered list and always end any text formatting (bold, italics, etc.) before the more tag. Always put a more tag on a separate line.

    3. I don't really see anything missing really. You might want to add links to your RSS feed in your sidebar: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/put-your-feed-in-your-sidebar/

  5. To break up your post you need to use the more tag

    <--!more-->
    This will display a default message set by the theme CSS

    `<--!more Click To Continue Reading, → -->'
    This code will display the following message "Click To Continue Reading, →"

    The nice thing about the more tag is you can write almost
    anything as long as you space it like I did in example 2

  7. Ok thank yall so much, that explains alot. Now when I do use the "more" tag, how can I edit it so that the post has a border around it. I wish I saved the links to the pages that had good examples but the best way to describe it is there are two columns with short excerpts of the most recent blogs, all of which are enclosed in boxes. It just has the visual effect we are after. Does this make sense?

  8. I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about, but it sounds like that would require the paid CSS upgrade and some hacking of the CSS. Not recommended unless you have experience with CSS since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade and few here have any in-depth knowledge of it.
