A few suggestions to improve the Mystique theme

    I really like the new Mystique theme. Two suggestions I have that would improve it are...

    1) The ability for footer widgets to stay in place. I have one widget in Footer 1 and if I put another widget in Footer 4 it automatically slides to Footer 2 if it isn't filled.

    2) This one would be more difficult to improve IMO. On each individual page you can choose a variety of ways that you want that page to be displayed (examples = Content, Sidebar, Sidebar and Sidebar, Content, Sidebar). I think it would be great if we could choose which widgets go on what individual page.

    The blog I need help with is ifantasyrace.com.

    I found out that my suggestion #2 works to a degree already so that proves just how good wordpress.com is ; )

    Hi ifantasyrace, thanks for the suggestions and notes.

    1) Noted. We'll take a look at that, not sure if it's an easy fix.

    2) WordPress doesn't yet support page- or post-specific widgets—maybe in a future version it will.

    I want to add catagorys as top-level pages in this theme. How can I do so?

    @arjuntola Use a custom menu: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus.

    Is there a way to turn the featured heading photo into a slideshow that rotates photos in featured posts instead of just one stationary featured post?

    That's a good suggestion—but it's not part of the current theme.
