   Ok.. I use the Hemingway theme...and I have just found out how to draw attention to a page that I have made.

   All you have to do when you write a page title is use the bold codes and it will put that titled page first instead of alphabetically.

   eg:

   Hot News alphabitically is after the About me page usually...

   but if you want to draw attention to a new page just put the Hot News in tags(or whatever you want to call your attention grabbing page)...like this eg:

   <b>Hot News</b> and it will go to the top of the page section, as mine has done!

   Good idea. That probably will work in any of the themes as the ASCII code for the < mark comes before any of the characters IIRC.

   Another suggest that has come up recently is making a "Featured Posts" page.

   I like that Featured Posts page, but why not just use a category?

   dunno really... I may look into that... that would mean I would tag it as Hot Topics and it would automatically go into the Hot Topics category... hmmmm.

   But I wonder, would it be listed at the top of the category list if I coded the Hot Topics in Bold as it does in my page section.

   I will have to think about Vivianpaige.... by the way... my name appears a lot on your blog.

   Top of the category list - No. Category list is by date. You would have to edit the code to get around that. Tagging them would be a good idea as long as you realize that the date is still going to be the same so it'll appear further down on the Tags page. You would still have to draw attention to them in some way.

   I think I will stick to the method that seems to be working...Hot Topics is just in the right spot for people to find.

   Attention all Hemingway users... you may want to put a little more of your post on the front page of your blog instead of the normal small paragraph that the theme allows... you can do this by going to the optional excerpt section below where you write a post and clicking on the (+) that will open up a place to put some additional text. Or you can just take what you consider your best written work that will get people to click on the post to read the rest of your written work.

   Be sure to end the excerpt with an unfinished sentence, so your readership will know that have to go to the heading of your post to be able to read the full post.

   Here is an example of a paragraph:

   >...................blah..........blah......................
   >.blah.....................blah.............................
   >.........................................blah...............
   >...............blah........................................
   >Today I was thinking of writing and [...][...]

   So, I have ended the above paragraph with an unfinished sentence, and if I have put an interesting paragraph in the excerpt, you should get your readers into the actual post to read the rest which is what you really want to do.
