   I delete all intercepted spam daily. For some reason, I cannot delete one specific spam comment. Sometimes, when I tried, the entire spam box would come up with a red background (!) and sometimes a red box appears, and says 'You are not authorised to do this.'

   It's all gone now.

   The spam folder is actually emptied automatically every few weeks, so you really don't have to worry about clearing it out yourself.
